Homemade Herb Shampoo and Conditioner.

SHAMPOO
Herbal tea of choice (I used a fruit’n’peppermint blend and chamomile)
Lemon juice
Rosemary
Boiling water
Liquid soap (Optional. Sometimes a small amount of grapefruit soap)

Place tea, lemon juice and any herbs into a teapot and cover with boiling water. Alternatively, place ingredients in a strainer and boil in a saucepan. Let infuse for 15-30 minutes, depending on the strength of the tea and how strong you want the fragrance of the shampoo.
Once brew is ready, pour into a glass, bowl or jar that contains the liquid soap (optional). Add an extra squeeze of lemon juice to the cooling mixture.

CONDITIONER
Apple cider vinegar
Rosemary
Warm water

Mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a cup of warm water. Add rosemary and allow to mingle for 10 or so minutes. If the smell bothers you, add less vinegar or dunk the used teabags into the mixture.

Allow the shampoo mixture to cool off a little before use. Apply by pouring over your hair and working it through. Your herbhead will smell lovely.
